"Our Family"

My name is Ginger and I've been providing in home childcare in the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake for 3 years.  I love my job and the children that are put into my care, "Daycare" just fits my family.  I’m happily married and we have two children; a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son.  We are very family oriented and very involved in our church where my husband and I  teach preschool Sunday school.

As a mother, I understand the importance of choosing a quality childcare provider. Choosing a childcare provider is a very important and personal decision for your child and your family as we do play an important role in their lives everyday. I want my home to be a "home-away-from-home" for your child while mommy and daddy are away at work. One of the benefits of a home childcare is the individual attention that each child receives.  I extend an “Open Door Policy” which means that you may come into my home while your child is in my care unannounced, parent’s can visit any time they like. 

We live in a single family home in a very small, quite neighborhood.  We maintin a clean and safe home and are smoke and pet free.  I have a separate playroom dedicated to the children.  We learn the basics:  ABC's, numbers, colors and shapes.  We also have music/dance, puzzle, bubble and reading time and do crafts for special holidays.  We are very laid back here,I let the children lead the day, yet we are on a dependable schedule for snacks, lunch and nap time (see schedule below).  

We have a HUGE fenced in backyard, where we spend A LOT of time during the spring, summer and nice fall days…I believe children need to be outside as much as possible, fresh air is wonderful for them and most enjoy being in nature.   I have plenty of ride on toys for tots, two small "Little Tikes" slides, seesaw, sand and water table, small plastc pool and we have fun learning and picking vegetables from the garden.  We also have lunch pinics outside...weather permitting.

6am-4:30pm

Childcare prices include two snacks, lunch and all juice.

9:00am = Morning Snack
11:30am = Lunch
12:30pm – 3:00pm = Nap time
3:30pm = Afternoon Snack
